The Rotary Mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Who We Are
Under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Concord, the Rotary Club of Concord-Afton Sunset was formed in 2012 to attract members who live and work in the community but cannot attend a daytime meeting. Cabarrus County, NC, has long been home to several Rotary clubs and offered meeting options at noontime and in the morning. Still, with changes in work habits and attendance availability, an evening club seemed viable. We meet every Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at High Branch Brewing Co. in the Gibson Mill complex in Concord, NC.
We are a diverse group of local businessmen and women who believe in serving our community and the world. We volunteer, raise money to fund grants and scholarships, and enjoy fellowship and community involvement. We are always looking for new Rotarians, so please join us!
Join us for a weekly meeting

What’s the point of all this?
The Object of Rotary
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
First
The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
Second
High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
Third
The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life.
Fourth
The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
Meet Our Members
Our club membership consists of service-minded individuals who want to make a difference in their community.

Our Charitable Works
Making an impact through charitable works and addressing pressing needs in our community is at the core of everything we do. We organize food drives, give out school supplies to local schools, support local community college students, and fund community initiatives; our club focuses on projects that create lasting change. We are guided by the motto, “Service Above Self,” and our members dedicate time, resources, and expertise to tackle local challenges. Our club strives to inspire hope and improve lives through partnerships and volunteerism, fostering a better, more equitable world.
Our Community Involvement
We are deeply involved in our community and work to foster connections and drive positive change through hands-on service projects, partnerships, and local initiatives. We collaborate with schools, businesses, and civic organizations to address pressing community needs, such as supporting youth programs like Interact, improving public spaces, and assisting vulnerable populations. By bringing people together to solve problems and build goodwill, we strengthen our community and promote a shared sense of purpose.
