Join us for a weekly meeting

There is an initiation fee of $95 and a quarterly Rotary membership fee of $100, which covers your Rotary International and local dues. You may also participate in donation activities like our CART fund for Alzheimer’s research and other initiatives. All giving is optional.
We participate in numerous service projects in Cabarrus County and support many Rotary International projects. Locally, some of our signature service projects include the Channel 9 SchoolTools school supplies drive, the Holiday Helpings food supplies drive at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC), and stocking the RCCC Student Food Pantry. We also award the annual Ralph H. Hartsell “Service Above Self” scholarship to a Cabarrus County Boys & Girls Club student and sponsor numerous Interact Clubs at local high schools. We conduct and participate in fundraisers to fund these projects.
We encourage members to attend all the meetings to get the most out of the fellowship. Our club strives for and maintains a long record of 100% attendance. You may make up a meeting at any other Rotary club or online at rotaryeclubone.org.
It’s a good idea to come to a few meetings, meet some of our members, and see if Rotary would be a good fit for you. You will be asked to complete a membership form if you decide to join. The club president or membership chairman will meet with you to answer any questions and ensure you understand the obligations of membership. Subsequently, the board will consider your application, and once approved, it will be published in the bulletin for two consecutive weeks. You will then be inducted into the club at our weekly meetings.
You will immediately notice the welcoming atmosphere at Concord Afton-Sunset Rotary. We meet weekly at High Branch Brewing Company in the Gibson Mill complex, downstairs from The Market Food Hall. Since we are an evening club, getting to the brewery for a drink or a bite to eat from the food hall a little early is an excellent opportunity to get to know some of your fellow Rotarians. The program and business meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends promptly at 7:00 p.m.
